25 g quinoa, red or white
25 g linseed (flaxseed)
250 g rolled oats
50 g desiccated coconut
175 g coconut oil
135 ml agave syrup
100 g dates, chopped
Preheat the oven to 180° C (160° C Fan).
Line a 20 centimetre square tin with parchment paper.
Cook the quinoa in a dry frying pan over medium heat, tossing regularly, until toasted. Set aside to cool.
Use a blender to grind the linseed into a powder.
Mix together the oats, quinoa, milled linseed, desiccated coconut, Formula 3 Protein Powder, and Protein Drink Mix.
Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat until melted.
Add in the agave syrup and chopped dates.
Pour the mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix until evenly combined.
Press the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden.
Allow to cool in the tin, remove, and cut into 16 squares. Cool on a rack.
